**Job Title - Building Maintenance Technician** **Location:** Santa Cruz, CA **Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM **Start Date:** Immediate **Compensation:** Based on experience **Assignment Length:** To be determined **Position Overview:** We are seeking a proactive and reliable **Maintenance Technician** to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of our senior housing facilities. This is a hands-on role, essential to ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of our properties. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, respond promptly to maintenance needs, and adapt easily to a dynamic environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, light electrical work, general unit repairs, and painting + Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies + Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues + Work both indoors and outdoors, often in varying conditions + Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations **Required Experience & Skills:** + Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar maintenance role + Proficient in: + Plumbing + Light electrical repairs + General unit repairs + Painting + Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills + Ability to work independently and efficiently **Requirements:** + Must own and wear steel-toe shoes + Ability to pass a criminal background check **Work Environment:** This role includes both indoor and outdoor work.
